You get *The Truth Detectives*—a brand-new children’s book series that turns everyday kid dilemmas into laugh-out-loud mystery missions about communication, courage, and speaking up (even when your voice feels small). ### 🕵️‍♀️ Meet the Team This is not your average group of perfect rule-followers. In fact, they're kind of a mess. The good kind. - **Cam**: A level-headed observer who sees what others miss - **Zoe**: Smart, curious, and never afraid to ask *why* - **Jeremy**: Snack king, always in the middle of something - **Victoria**: Sweet… until you mess with her Frenchie - **Olivia**: The glue of the group, a quiet force of compassion - **Lola**: A French bulldog with no remorse and zero food boundaries - **Ms. Juniper**: Their teacher, holding it together (barely) Together, they stumble through real-life school day dramas—from *The Great Lunch Heist* to the mystery of missing markers and misunderstood feelings—and they always come out with a little more clarity and a lot more connection. ### ✏️ Written with Kids, For Kids Author Amanda Frye partnered with her 8-year-old daughter, Sofia, to create a series that *actually sounds* like kids. Sofia helped shape the characters, the conflicts, and even the illustrations—insisting on simple stick-figure styles so kids could draw along and add their own stories at home. ### 💡 What makes this different? Most kids' books teach lessons. This one starts conversations. It’s not about perfect behavior or polite little robots—it’s about: - Saying what you *really* mean without hurting feelings - Owning your mistakes and learning from them - Laughing at the mess while figuring it out together Every book brings emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and Kind Transparency to life—with chaos, jokes, and a dog burp or two. ### 🎉 Coming May 2025 The first book launches this spring with more stories, printables, and merch on the way. Get ready for: - Illustrated chapter books with discussion prompts - Truth Detective Starter Kits for classrooms and parents - Activity packs that make “soft skills” feel like superpowers --- **Honesty shouldn’t be scary. Feelings aren’t a problem. And clear communication is the real plot twist.** Let’s raise *Truth Detectives.* May 2025.
